ISO 13485: quality management for medical products

AIM B.V. is certified to ISO 13485, an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems in the medical industry. This certification underlines our focus on risk management, traceability, documentation and customer satisfaction within all production processes. Working according to FDA and UL guidelines

Our processes are set up to meet the relevant requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL), among others. This enables our customers to distribute their finished products worldwide, including within regulated markets such as the United States.

Compliance with relevant laws and regulations

AIM B.V. works in full compliance with applicable European and international regulations. Among other things, we comply with the directives and obligations of:

  • RoHS - restriction on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
  • REACH SVHC - European regulations requiring the registration and safe use of chemicals of concern in the supply chain.
  • Conflict Minerals Regulation - legislation that makes the use of raw materials from conflict areas such as tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold traceable and responsible.
